Red Eye is a better trailer than movie

IFC has put out a list of the Best 50 Movie Trailers of all time.

Magnolia (No. 47) sets up the movie well:

Red Eye’s (No. 23) trailer is much better at shocking than the movie actually was:

Miracle on 34th Street (No. 4) is quaintly humorous:

But my personal favorite, coming in at No. 33 on the list, is Where the Wild Things Are. It may be that its recent, or that I love Wake Up, but this thing gave me goosebumps. I am already prepared for the movie to disappoint. Here’s the trailer, but do yourself a favor and watch the Hi-Def version here:
